Deep Brain Stimulation Patients Association (BeyPilDer) organized a special awareness event for World Parkinson's Day on April 11. During the 22nd week of the Vedat Pars Season of the Men's Handball Super League, Besiktas Men's Handball Team held a short demonstration match with our Parkinson's patients at Suleyman Seba Sports Hall after their match with Konya Buyuksehir Belediye Spor to draw attention to Parkinson's disease and related treatment methods in our country.

In collaboration with students from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (MSGSÜ) Faculty of Communication Graphic Design and Yeditepe University Faculty of Fine Arts Graphic Design Departments, we organized the "Parkinson's and Deep Brain Stimulation Awareness Poster Exhibition" at the Historic Husrev Kethuda Hamam to draw attention to Parkinson's disease and deep brain stimulation treatment.

Deep Brain Stimulation Patients Association (BeyPilDer) collaborated with Samdan Plus, to organize a magnificent ball at Raffles Istanbul for the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic. At the "100 Year Legacy Ball," BeyPilDer President Aysel Akar, joined by other members, presented a wonderful waltz performance. Patients who re-adapted to their social lives with deep brain stimulation gave the #HoldOnToLife message to the guests. The night became even more majestic with the colorful element added by renowned designer Cihan Nacar's 100th anniversary special collection fashion show.

Deep Brain Stimulation Patients Association (BeyPilDer) organized a very enjoyable community services project with designer Ceylan Insel to draw attention to Parkinson's disease and deep brain stimulation treatment for World Parkinson's Day on April 11. Insel brought life to the t-shirts she designed with hyacinth flower patterns. This design symbolized the hope and joy of life for Parkinson's patients. The flower represents their valuable lives, in which they were granted a second chance at life to continue from where they left off, thanks to deep brain stimulation treatment. Well-known names from the business, art, and elite societies joined in painting the t-shirts. Additionally, they shared their photos on social media with hashtags such as #ParkinsonIsNotTheEnd #deepbrainstimulation #HoldOnToLife, which not only attracted immense public attention but also made the moment everlasting.

At the 16th Contemporary Istanbul, one of the biggest art fairs in Türkiye, modern art merged with community service through the collaboration of Samdan Plus and Deep Brain Stimulation Patients Association (BeyPilDer). The exhibition titled "More Than Just a Photograph," aimed at raising awareness about #Parkinson disease and #deepbrainstimulation treatment, and conveyed message to #HoldOnToLife. Famous personalities supported the cause by posing in the painted t-shirts, designed by designer Ceylan Insel.

Parkinson's patients came together at a table tennis tournament organized by Deep Brain Stimulation Patients Association (BEYPiLDER). The tournament held in Bodrum was attended by patients who regained their social lives after deep brain stimulation surgery, patients fighting Parkinson's, Bodrum Veteran Table Tennis Players Sports Club Association, Bodrum Disabled Health Foundation, and table tennis enthusiasts.
